I like the room and location on the beach.
Overpriced for the value. It's the real hotel on Long Beach.

Atlantic Ocean rooftop pool, complimentary beach passes, spacious oceanfront suites
Could use better maintenance practices throughout the hotel!!! Frequent complaints about room cleanliness and lingering odors need serious attention!!!

Great Service but Room Disappointment
I recently spent two nights in a King Suite with Partial Beach View. While the views weren't what I'd hoped for, the staff's friendliness was good. The food was delicious, particularly the appetizers from the onsite restaurant.

Beachfront location, handy base for discovering Long Beach. Proximity to the airport, just 16 miles. Large breakfast with an omelette station, a beautiful view prepared by excellent staff.

My window overlooking the beach - very nice.
No hot water - totally unacceptable for a $300+ a night room. They told me that hot water had to come from the roof (3 floors above me) and to let it run for 10 minutes - nothing happened - luke warm water is not what I wanted after a 14 hr non-stop flight from the Middle East. The next morning they sent the engineer to check it out - he spent 5 minutes in the bathroom, said he'd be right back, but never came back. They gave me a credit for my bar and breakfast charges, but I'd have much rather had a hot shower.

I stayed in the King Room with Ocean View and it was gorgeous! The wall-to-wall windows gave an amazing view of the ocean-seriously amazing. The shower was great, too, really spacious. Just loved waking up to that view every morning!
